You Capture - Macro

I've been wanting to participate in Beth's You Capture challenge for a long time, but it turns out I'm pretty lazy. Who knew.

We have three of these plants in our backyard. I don't know what they are. Maybe, you do? The other night I noticed that the flowers "go to sleep" at night and mentioned it to my husband. It was one of those conversations about nothing, the kind that only really seem to happen when there aren't conversations about something waiting to happen. When I was growing up I heard my parents have a long conversation about peaches. Peaches? I asked. Is this what I'm going to be talking about when I'm older?

If you're lucky, they said.

Bub couldn't stand not being the focus of the camera, so he became a very willing subject. Recently, if there's a camera around, he stands directly in front of it and quietly says, Take a picture.

I think a haircut is in our very near future.

Yesterday, he started saying CHEESE whenever the lens was turned his way.

I love this boy.

  9. Lovely photos! My mother-in-law gave me flowers that bloom in the after noon and are called "Four O'clocks", they are closed in the morning so I guess they go to sleep, too. =)
