Bubble Gum & Cotton Candy. No, Not What I Had for Breakfast.

I totally lied.

This weekend, the husband is painting the nursery pink.

A very, very pale pink. A pink that I hope is just this side of soothing and not at all Pepto-Bismol. A pink that may very well have driven the Home Depot employee crazy as I handed her the paint chip we had chosen, then proceeded to hem and haw about whether or not it was TOO pink.

Pink.

Pictures to follow.

  1. Good luck! We did this for our daughter's nursery, too... and had to have the painter redo it because the first color we chose WAS way too Pepto-Bismol! Pinks are hard. But it looks so cute when it's done. :)

  2. Oooh, I love paint chips. Did you pick "Hint of Rosebud" or "Fairy Whispers" or "Petit Jete"? (Looking forward to the pictures.) =>

  5. It's tough with pink...I've learned to always go a shade lighter than my initial pick. I'm a new subscriber to your blog (found you by way of Stacia at Fluffy Bunnies). Can't wait to see how it turns out!
