Fun Fact Friday

• Bub's preschool offers extended care, so when I pick him up many of the kids are not being picked up. This makes me feel like a supreme jerk as they're all crying for their mommies. I'm hoping this situation improves over the next few weeks.

• I caved and picked up The Hunger Games today, and it's in the baby's room waiting for tonight's middle of the night feeding. I've resisted, because it didn't initially sound appealing, but wizards and vampires don't appeal to me in theory either, but my bookcase would argue otherwise. I have a feeling I'll be downloading the next two books to my Kindle before the weekend is over. I'm nothing if not a follower.

• I'm kind of not sure what to do with myself while Bub is in school. The first two days I came home and put the baby down for a nap, and then proceeded to waste the rest of the morning until it was time to pick him up. Today we were productive, ran errands and had breakfast with a friend, but the baby didn't really get much of a nap and I still found myself watching the clock every five minutes so I wouldn't be late.
  

• We bought a minivan before we had the baby and I'm happy to say that it's the best thing I've ever owned. Yes, two children is enough for a minivan. Yes, I love that the doors open with just the touch of a button. No, it does nothing for my cool factor, but the doors! Open and close remotely!
