Since I know you’ve been dying to know the outcome of the haircut saga, you’ll be happy to know that I did get my hair cut. I took Bubette with me and it was mostly a non-issue. I felt like a few people gave me a bit of the side-eye when I showed up with a baby, but I could have imagined it. I mean, it’s not like I was in a bar, you know?
Anyway, hair CUT.
That’s before and after, but I realize that it’s not particularly obvious. It’s sooooo much better, trust me.
Bubette spent the night with my mom, and when I dropped her off, she traded cupcakes for my baby girl. I love that woman.
I got to spend some one on one time with this little dude. We went to Disneyland and I let him call the shots. This was my first stroller free Disney trip and it was mighty freeing.
Saturday night the boys went to an Angel game, while Bubette went to my mother-in-law’s. Does it sound like we pawn her off a lot? I’m almost never away from her, but somehow these gramma trips both landed in the same week. Both kids occupied = ladies night for mama.
Aaaand, just after hitting publish last week, we finally hammered out concrete vacation plans. We’re taking kind of an odd combo vacation where we’ll be spending four days in Cape Cod, then three days in Vegas with some of my husband’s friends. It’s not at all what we had planned, but it’s vacation, and I’ll take it.
What’s new with you?
Pretty, pretty hair.
