Assuming all of the following are true:
- You have a child who takes long afternoon naps
- You have an older child who doesn’t nap, and whose mandatory quiet time is significantly shorter than his sister’s nap
- You live in a quiet, safe, suburban neighborhood
- You have a baby monitor that works outside of your house
Would you:
- Walk to the mailbox a few houses away – with or without your five year old – while the baby sleeps?
- Play out front with your older child while the baby sleeps, with a baby monitor nearby?
Yes to both but I'm just like that.
ReplyDeleteYes to both, though a bigger yes to playing in the yard. That is, absolutely I'd play in the yard with the baby monitor nearby. I feel more nervous leaving my property, but I think I would still be willing to do it.
ReplyDeleteYes, I would.
ReplyDeleteYes & yes! But knowing your hubby I can see where this is going, lol!!
ReplyDeleteWhat Swistle said.
ReplyDelete1.) I do that all the time! SO yes! a trip to the mailbox never hurt anyone.
ReplyDelete2.) OF COURSE!
wow, now i feel like something is wrong with me...
Both. This seems entirely reasonable.
ReplyDeleteYes and yes.
ReplyDeleteYep. The other day we put the baby to bed and went to a picnic in the neighbor's (2 houses over) front yard with the monitor.
