Read This: Sandy Edition

I’m ever so mildly considering participating in NaBloPoMo. Not in any official way, just as a challenge to myself. I did it last year, and other than a rather long spell of posting about Thanksgiving foods and traditions, I really liked it. We’ll see.

For now, I’m doing that trick where I pretend I’m writing, but I’m actually directing you elsewhere.

For those of us who feel useless in the wake of Sandy, here’s a pretty great list of legitimate organizations to donate to. The short version? Send money. Or give blood.

For some good (where good equals a giant dose of perspective) reads on Sandy, I recommend Liz’s Post Sandy Postmortem and Jonna’s Tenuousness.

And proof that people are still good in the midst of all of this, 15 Amazing Acts of Kindness During Sandy.
