This is by no means what I’ve worn in the last week. I keep meaning to do a weekly round up, and at the end of each week I have one, maybe two, photos to work with. This collection of winter clothes makes a few things painfully obvious.
1. I like jeans.
2. I need to change up the winter wardrobe a bit. Would it kill me to wear a dress (Note: I wear dresses all summer long, I just haven’t worked them into my casual winter wardrobe.)
3. I tend to fall deep into a rut. Boots + jeans + sweaters.
Still, I’ve taken the photos, and now I have something to go on for the rest of the season, or – more realistically – next year.

I really love these wide leg jeans but they photograph GIANT. I don’t think they look that large in person. They’re certainly not billowy in the hips like they appear.

Shoes: Old Navy ($9, and worth every penny. Gold flats are a serious staple.
Again with these jeans. I this this was the wrong sweater to wear with them, but this is another outfit that I thought looked much better in person than in photos.

ReplyDeleteA loooong time ago, someone told me citrus yellow is my color. I never really believed them, because it's kind of screamy, and I like my neutrals. (This, right here? Is a girl who can't take a compliment. THANK YOU MANDA.)
DeleteI love the wide-legged pants, but I agree they photograph big.... I don't know why, because I agree that they certainly don't look big in person. Cute outfits, though. I love cardigans!

DeleteLove the outfits! And totally the kind of stuff I have in my closet, so that's extra nice. Usually I look at other people's clothes and think- Cute! I would never wear that.
